"Booked online via the Great Residences website, confirmation was made within 10 minutes;airport staff were at Bangkok airport and instructed. Transfer was just a few minutes. Check in was very quick and painless. Guest room was very clean and tidy, furniture looked new. I will definately stay here again on my return leg to OZ."

"Location was the main reason for booking the Great Residence, there was a parade of retaurants and bars near by which was nice. For the rate it was fair, breakfast was modest, but adequate."

" We flew in Suvarnabhumi Airport very late in the evening, so we didn't want to go into Bangkok City center, instead we stayed at the Great Residence, this was only 3 Km's from the Bangkok Airport and it provided a 24 hour transfer shuttle service."

"Proximity to the new Bangkok Airport is the Great residence hotel's main draw card. It was even quiet given the fact that it is so near to Suvarnabhumi airport. Hotel room was very nice and comfortable. My family and I spent our first day walking around shopping, eating, drinking, etc. There are several restaurants, bars and clubs in the immediate vicinity to the Hotel. The only issue that we had was that the staff's English skills weren't too good, and we had trouble explaining where we wanted to go to in Bangkok city. If we ever venture to Thailand again, we will definitely to stay at the Great Residence Hotel."

"I needed to stay close to the airport so booked a hotel that looked close on an internet site. I arrived at 23.00 and arranged to be picked up at the airport by their driver. They had a man holding up a sign, (ask then which exit they will be )dropped me off at the hotel in 5 mins. It was clean, new and safe,There is also a new building going up next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful, carrying all my luggage and realized that all I wanted to do was go to bed.

I had a single room with en suite. It had a big bed, very comfy, hot shower, good towels, space and free wi fi. Rate included a simple breakfast of egg,coffee, juice and fruit and they even helped me change money as I was short. I arranged to catch the hotel car back to the airport,as I had a morning flight, for 150 Bht. It is in a residential area with a few shops and facilities up the road. It is a fabulous reasonably priced hotel stopover place but not a glamorous location or holiday spot. Perfect for when you have to catch an early flight and do not want to deal with the traffic!"

"We checked a number of hotels on the internet for the Bangkok airport area, but we wanted to pick a hotel that offered us a payment when we arrive option – as we don’t have a credit card. We eventually chose Great Residence Hotel, whose website offered this service.

From the moment we arrived, to our departure, the Great Residence Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The service was amazing, the Reception staff was always on hand to assist and advise us.

The room we stayed in was quite large with a nice balcony. An internet café provided us with free internet which was great for us to keep in contact with friends & family. Within 1 block radius there must of been a least 10 restaurants and 5 bars. In the morning our transfer back to BKK Suvarnabhumi International airport was quick and without a fuss.

I would highly recommend the Great Residence hotel to anyone who wants to stay away from the more frentic Bangkok city center areas or for le who wish to stopover and need to be close to Bangkok airport."

"This hidden gem is a family run modern Thai style hotel located close to Bangkok International Airport. Two wings (and a third under construction) in a neighbourhood close to Airport . Rooms are fully air conditioned with TV and en-suite and spotlessly clean . They will pick you up and take you back to the Airport. Quiet location, with local Thai style outdoor restaurants, bars and convenience stores within easy walking distance . Small restaurant within the hotel offers great value breakfast (inclusive), and lunch and dinner available also . Bar and taxi service too .Internet access available .

Room prices are incredibly value, so don't get ripped off staying at the big name chain hotels at the actual Airport . This is a great hotel to stay at for those wanting to break a long flight in Bangkok for 24 hours or so, but apart from as described there is little else in the area to see or do. So don't stay here if you expect a resort style experience .
We broke 20 hour flight from Aus to Europe each way by 24 hour stopover in BKK each way at this great little hotel . You can book on line via their website and also arrange the pick-up and tarnsfer back to the Airport . Very new professional little family operation ."
